BY THEIR FRUIT
BY THEIR FRUIT
How nice it is to hear political leaders who are unashamed to address the heart of the issues facing The United States of America today. One of the most articulate is Matt Bevin, governor of Kentucky. Unlike the senior senator from that state, Mr. Bevin is an openly practicing Christian and supports Biblical values. He boldly proclaims the Biblical values upon which this country was founded and is not timid in his defense of them. Instead of his political life affecting his Christian life, it is his Christian life which affects his political life. He is of the same cloth as our Vice President, Mike Pence. I do not laud them as being unusual, but present them as what the usual Christian is. Nominal (that means in name only) Christians will shy away from any mention of Jesus, or The Word of God, or of The God of the Bible. (Could it be that being politically correct is the “mark of the beast”?)
We are seeing more and more men like these (Matt and Mike), not only in political life, but in business, medicine, education and entertainment. In every walk of life God has planted His Church(The Called Out). They are planting the Seed of The Word of God everywhere they go. It is no longer the paid professional clergy who are spreading The Kingdom of God, but it is the servants who faithfully day by day go forth bearing precious seeds planting them everywhere they go.
Are you one of “The Called Out”(The Church)? Or are you one of the tares that is sown among wheat. Jesus said, “You shall know them by their fruit.”
I would like to point out two who are “wheat”.
